Engine Carbon Clean Emissions fail + Engine Carbon Clean = Emissions pass ✅ We were called as they were having problems with emissions on this 2008 Vauxhall Astra 1.9cdti SRI. With the car doing very short journeys all year it had built up some serious soot (their initial test came out over 5.50 1/m!) with a change of filters and some fuel additive they managed to bring the emissions down considerably but still couldn’t get it below the 1.2 limit. 📊 Diagnostics showed an O2 sensor code which would clear but come back under hard acceleration, this may point towards a small air leak somewhere. 💥 60mins on the gas and it was back in for the retest!
