Trusted Traders approved service.🚗 Here we have a Ford Mondeo 1.8 tdci (2010 – 141k miles) booked in for diagnostics and Engine Carbon Clean. The owner had recently purchased it and after having a used replacement engine fitted wanted to get it running sweetly again and checked for any issues.🔎 Initial inspection in the engine bay found little of note with no excessive rattles or leaks, but a tell tale bass purr to the engine.💻 Initial diagnostics found historic codes for various systems throughout the car which we checked and cleared. Given it had a replacement engine fitted whilst keeping the original ECU we cleared adaptations, reset throttle control valve, EGR and turbo settings.
