🚗 Here we have a Jaguar 2.2d X Type premium (2008 – 113,681) booked in for diagnostics consultation and Engine Carbon Clean.
🔎 Initial inspection found little of note in the engine bay. There was a tell tale bass note to the engine from the buildup present.
💻 Initial diagnostics found some codes present mainly down to historic communication glitches which we documented and cleared for the owner.
📊 Live data showed key components working correctly EGR, injectors, turbo. The thermostat performed well when tested with temperatures keeping between 91-98°C. All other live data looked good across the board.
👨🔧 On with the clean and the engine note soon smoothed out and quietened down and by the end was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
