Having experienced a blue smoke issue, we started with checking engine breather pipes.
Working back from the oil catch can we established the engine breather ( on the rear of the cylinder head on this engine) was blocked..
This was duly cleared allowing engine gases to flow freely 👍
Next we completed a compression test… great news all evenly balanced. 👍
Next we completed a 1hr carbon clean via the twin Weber 40’s ( a truly wonderful sound )
A 60min clean was completed and visable smoke levels dropped dramatically.
